Head of the Department of Asia and Australia Meets Indian Ambassador to Iraq

On 26/06/2022, Mr Haider Al-Shamrti, Head of the Asia and Australia Department, received Indian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Brashant Besai, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and India, in addition to the developments in the regional and international arenas.

On his part, the Indian ambassador confirmed the importance of enhancing the Iraqi-Indian relations in the interests of the two friendly countries in the light of global developments.
