Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences Meets Iranian Ambassador to Iraq

Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences, Dr Abbas Kadhum Obaid, met Mr Mohammad Kadhim Al-Sadiq, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, , at the Ministry’s headquarters.

Head of the Department of International Organisations welcomed the Ambassador Mohammad Kadhim on the occasion of his assumption of his new position, wishing him success in his task and looking forward to continued cooperation in a way that enhances the bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, they discussed some international issues of common interest before international organisations and exchanged views on them according to common visions through the regional groups.

On his part, the Iranian ambassador commended Iraq’s positions in international organisations, referring to the strength of the bilateral relations between the two countries and his country’s continued support to Iraq in international forums.
