Head of the Department of Protocol Receives Russian Ambassador to Baghdad

On 17/5/2022, Head of the Department of Protocol, Dr Ali Shamran Hachim, received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Mr Elbers Kuatrashev.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the department welcomed Mr Kuatrashev, appreciating the support provided by the Russian Federation to Iraq, confirming the Department’s readiness to provide all support and facilities to the Russian Mission to ensure the success of its task in a manner that serves the two countries.

On his part, the Russian ambassador expressed his thanks for the good reception and hospitality, and for the facilities and support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs / the Department of Protocol to the Russian Mission in Baghdad.
