Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Lisbon Meets Prime Minister of the Azores Province

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Lisbon, Siwan Saber Barzani, has met the Prime Minister of the Regional Government of the Azores, Mr José Manuel Cabral Dias Bolieiro. During the meeting, the ambassador provided an overview of Iraq and the role the Embassy plays to enhance the bilateral relations, referring to the importance of Iraq as an attractive country for investment, stating the desire of Iraq to enhance the relation with the Azores Province in the sectors of education, tourism, agriculture, and cultural exchange, in addition to studying the possibility of benefiting from Portuguese expertise and experience to enhance the bilateral cooperation between the two sides.

First Secretary Muhammad Rabah Abdullah has attended the meeting.
