Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London Meets British Minister of State for Asian and Middle Eastern Affairs

On 25/04/2022, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London, Muhammad Jaafar al-Sadr, met the Minister of State for Asian and Middle Eastern Affairs, Ms Amanda Milling, at the headquarters of the Foreign and commonwealth Office.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing the bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom.

They also discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Iraq and the region and the efforts of the political parties in Iraq to overcome the political stalemate towards forming the new Iraqi government.

On her part, Ms Milling affirmed the UK’s support to Iraq to maintain its security and stability.
