The Undersecretary of the Multilateral and Legal Affairs receives the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC

       The Undersecretary of the Multilateral and Legal Affairs Dr. Qahtan Khalaf has received the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the OIC Ambassador Yusuf Bin Mohammad AL Dhubayie at the HQ of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

     During the meeting they discussed means of multilateral cooperation between the Iraqi government and OIC in different political, economic and cultural scopes.

    The Undersecretary has emphasized the Iraqi government`s keenness to continue the cooperation with the OIC and the necessity of Iraq`s representation in all OIC organs, as Iraq is a member state in the organization.

    On his part, the Assistant Secretary General valued the efforts made to provide complete support to the organization`s office in Baghdad and he expressed the desire of the organization to cooperate with Iraq and enhance its pioneering role in the organization, as Iraq enjoys a great power and influence in the Arab and Islamic region.
