Head of Asia and Australia Department meets Philippine Ambassador to Iraq

     Head of Asia and Australia Department Mr. Hayder Radhi Al Shamarty has met the Philippines Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Generoso D G Calonge .

The two sides confirmed the necessity of developing the bilateral relations and the mutual care to enhance the cooperation bonds of areas of common interest to meet the interests of the two countries.

The head of the Department expressed his hopes to enhance the ways upgrading the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and he emphasized the interest of Baghdad in the mutual visits of the two countries` officials under the framework of strengthening the relations and opening channels for the bilateral cooperation.

On his part the Philippines Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the good reception and hospitality, in addition to the facilities offered to the Philippine mission in Baghdad by the head of Asia Department, confirming the importance of strengthening Iraqi- Philippine relations to meet the interests of the two countries.
