Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nizar Khairallah Chairs meetings of the First Round of Political Consultations with his Azerbaijani Counterpart

The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nizar Khairallah, and the Undersecretary of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Farz Radhayev, chaired their countries’ delegation in the meetings of the first round of political consultation which had been held in Baku on 9/2/2022. During the meeting, they discussed the development of prospects of bilateral relations in various fields, political, economic, scientific and cultural fields, between the two countries.
The two sides touched on the opportunities available to enhance the economic, tourist and trade exchange between the two countries, and find appropriate solutions to all the challenges facing the two countries. They also discussed the deep historic relations between the two friendly peoples, as well as the cooperation and coordination in the field of multilateral relations, and they discussed developments in the regional and international situation.
During the visit, Mr Nizar Khairallah has met a number of Azerbaijani officials, primarily Mr Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic for Foreign Policy Affairs, and Mr Samad Sedov, Chairman of the Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee.
