Iraqi Delegation Finalizes its Meetings with the Lebanese Side on the Iraqi-Lebanese Agreement

On 15/3/2022, the Iraqi delegation headed by Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut, Haider Shiya Al-Barrak, concluded its discussions on the Iraqi-Lebanese agreement, where he met the Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr Najib Mikati, in addition to meetings with the Minister of Health, Mr Firas Al-Abyad and the Minister of Energy and Water Mr Walid Fayad, Minister of Economy Mr Amin Salam, Minister of Industry Mr Georges Bouchkian, Minister of Public Labour and Transport Mr Ali Hamie and finally with the Governor of the Banque du Liban Mr Riad Salameh.

 A press conference was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy in which the two sides discussed the importance of cooperation and the conclusion of agreements between the two brotherly countries in the interest of the Iraqi and Lebanese peoples. The delegation has included representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Iraq.
