Head of the Department of Protocol Meets the Belgian Ambassador accredited to Iraq

On 15/3/2022, Acting Head of the Department of Protocol, Dr Ali Shamran Hachem, met the Belgian Ambassador accredited to Iraq, residing in Amman, Filip Vanden Bulcke, in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics and files of mutual interest in developing the cooperation at all levels.

The head of the department confirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/ the Department of Protocol, to provide all assistance and support to enhance the relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of Belgium in a manner that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.

On his part, the guest expressed his thanks and gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, and for the facilities provided by the Department of Protocol to the Belgian Embassy.

Deputy Head of the Department of Protocol, Mr Samer Jamal Hassan has attended the meeting.
