The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs receives the Credentials of the new Canadian Ambassador to Iraq

      The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fuad Hussain received on 16/2/2022 a copy of the Credentials of the new Canadian Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Gregory Galligan. They discussed the bilateral relations and its development scopes between the two friendly countries.

   His Excellency, Mr. Hussain confirmed that Iraq is looking forward to more cooperation, and opening new horizons between Baghdad and Ottawa to meet the two people`s aspirations, Appreciating the supportive positions of Canada in different scopes, especially its support to Iraq within the International Coalition to combat the terrorist gangs of ISIS.

     His Excellency wished success for the new Ambassador at his new mission, and show the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all facilities to help the diplomatic mission`s task  in Baghdad to develop the joint work between the two countries.
