The head of the Department of Neighboring Countries Affairs meets the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq

    Head of the Department of Neighboring Countries Affairs Mr. Ihsan Yaseen AL Awadi met the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Erj Masjidi at the HQ of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 9/2/2022. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and the mutual keenness to strengthen them in different scopes to meet the interests of the two neighboring states.

    During the meeting they also discussed the file of common waters  between the two countries and the necessity to expand the means of cooperation in this area, and to find more effective mechanisms and means of this important file, they have also exchanged points of view regarding the issues of common concern.
