Foreign Minister Meets Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations and Discusses with Him Outcomes of the Security Council resolution on Ending Compensations

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has met the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, Ambassador Zhang Jun, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The two sides have discussed the outcomes of the Security Council resolution on ending compensation, the productive cooperation of the members of the Security Council in this important file for Iraq and its people, and its positive repercussions on the country’s future and capabilities. The Minister extended his thanks on behalf of the Iraqi Government to the Government of the People’s Republic of China for supporting Iraq’s efforts and efforts to fulfill its obligations and exit procedures of Chapter VII.
