Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

 On 16/02/2022, the Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Yousef bin Muhammad Al-Dobeay, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Mr Yousef bin Muhammad Al-Dobeay thanked His Excellency for the keenness of the Iraqi government to support the organization’s office in Baghdad, as well as discussing the work of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and ways to play a greater role in the near future in the light of the conditions experienced by the countries of the Islamic world, and to enhance Iraq’s role within the organization for the wide power and influence it enjoys in the Arab and Islamic region.
