Head of Department of Arab Affairs meets the Charge d’affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Iraq

The Acting Head of Department of Arab Affairs, Usama Mahdi Ganim met the Charge d’affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Iraq, Mr Fahmy Yousef AlMashraqy on Tuesday 15/2/2022. During the meeting, they have discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries; the latest developments in the Republic of Tunisia; and the latest decisions of the Tunisian president Qais Saeed.

The Head of Department of Arab Affairs has affirmed Iraq’s keenness on Tunisia’s security and stability, expressing his wishes for prosperity to all Arab people, including the brotherly Tunisian people. He has expressed his aspiration that the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tunisia will witness further cooperation and coordination. In addition, they have discussed facilitating the visa issuance for Iraqis who wish to visit Tunisia.

In return, Mr. Fahmy Yousef AlMashraqy has presented his thank to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the facilitations provided to make the task of the Tunisian Embassy a success, expressing his appreciation for the hospitality and positive cooperation from all Ministry Departments.
