Deputy Head of the Department of European Affairs Discusses Joint Cooperation on Migration and Asylum Issues with the Delegation of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development ICMPD

On 1/2/2022, the Deputy Head of the Department of European Affairs, Dr Muhammad Adnan Mahmoud, received the delegation of the International Center for Migration Policy Development headed by Ms Sadaf Dering, Director of the Budapest Process Secretariat and Director of the Silk Road Countries Region at the Centre.

During the meeting, they discussed the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the rest of the relevant Iraqi ministries and institutions, and the International Centre on Migration and Asylum issues.

The two sides also discussed the future projects and programmes that the Centre works to implement in Iraq and the possibility of investing them based on the needs of Iraqi ministries and institutions.
