Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Meets the Saudi Minister for Investment

On 19/1/2022, Dr Abdul-Sattar Hadi Al-Janabi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, the Saudi Minister for Investment.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments of the work of the Economic, Trade, Investment, Development and Relief Committee affiliated with the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, and mechanisms for encouraging Saudi companies to work in Iraq and overcoming the obstacles they may face, as well as reviewing the agenda for the next meeting of the Iraqi-Saudi Businessmen Council, which will be held in Riyadh early next week.

  Minister Khalid Al-Falih expressed his keenness to attend some of the Council’s meetings. The ambassador has expressed his keenness to communicate directly with the relevant Saudi ministries to overcome the obstacles in coordination with the relevant Iraqi ministries and the authority of investment.
