Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Multilateral Relations Meets Swedish Ambassador in Baghdad

Mr Qahtan Taha Khalaf The undersecretary for legal affairs and multilateral relations met Mr Jonas Luven the Swedish ambassador in Baghdad at the Ministry headquarters on 17/11/2021,

 During the meeting they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and H.E. stressed on the friendly relations between the two countries, commending the support of Sweden to Iraq on various issues especially via Swedish participation in the International Coalition against daesh.

  Both parties discussed topics of joint concern and emphasized on the continuity of the topics that consolidate the relations between the two countries and coordinate attitudes on issues of mutual interest on international level.

  On his part, the Swedish ambassador referred in the meeting to the success of the election that was conducted a stable atmosphere and its importance despite the challenges and difficulties.
