Head of the Department of Arab Affairs Meets the Chargé d’affaires of Saudi Arabia in Baghdad

On Wednesday, 20/10/2021, the Acting Head of the Arab Affairs Department, Osama Mehdi Ghanem met the Saudi Chargé d’affaires in Baghdad, Mr. Bender Turki Al Hamidi.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations, ways to strengthen them and the raised issues on the agenda of the Iraqi-Saudi Political, Security and Military Committee stemming from the Saudi-Iraqi Coordinating Council.

The Head of the Arab Affairs Department Affirmed the importance of the continued convening of the Committee of the Coordinating Council, thereby enhancing the bilateral cooperation and achieve the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of the two countries.

On his part, the Chargé d’affaires of Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination on political, security and military issues and the need to develop a common vision on the most important issues concerning the two countries.
