The Charge D’affaires of Republic of Iraq in Nouakchott Meets Mauritanian Foreign Minister

The Charge D’affaires a.i of the Republic of Iraq in Mauritania, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Salman, met on Wednesday July, 24, 2019 with the Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mr. Ismael Ould Sheikh Ahmed.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed congratulated the Charge D’affaires on the occasion of joining the Embassy of the Republic Iraq in Nouakchott, wishing him success in his duties, including strengthening Iraq -Mauritanian interests, stressing the deep historical ties between the two countries. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them and develop them to serve the interests of the two peoples. They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and the developments in the region expressing readiness to cooperate in all fields.
