Tripartite Ministerial Committee of Foreign Ministers of Iraq, Jordan and France to complete preparations for upcoming Baghdad Conference to be held in Amman
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein chaired the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the countries participating in Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, to follow up on the outcomes of the Conference on Tuesday 21/9/2021, at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations in New York, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, the Assistant Secretary of the United Nations for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union.
The meeting was concluded with an agreement to form a tripartite ministerial committee from the foreign ministers of Iraq, Jordan and France to complete the preparations related to the agenda and objectives of the upcoming conference to be held in Amman.
The attendants unanimously adopted the final statement that resulted from the meeting.
