Foreign Minister Meets with Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and United Nations at British Foreign Office

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon, Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs and the United Nations at the British Foreign Office. The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and London and means of strengthening them to serve the interests of both countries.
The two sides also stressed the importance of concerted efforts and cooperation to enhance the security and stability of the region, support Iraq in rebuilding the infrastructure of liberated cities and open new prospects for joint cooperation.
This meeting comes within the framework of communication and constant coordination related to regional and international issues of interest to both countries.
