Head of Protocol Department meets Director of United Nations Investigation Team (UNITAD)

Acting Head of the Protocol Department, Dr. Ali Shamran Haji, met with the director of the United Nations Investigation Team in Iraq (UNITAD) on Crimes Committed by ISIS, MR. Gerald Casey.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department welcomed Mr. Caseym, praising the important role played by the UNITAD team in collecting evidence of war crimes and acts of genocide committed by ISIS in Iraq. 

For his part, Mr. Casey expressed his thanks and gratitude for the warm hospitality and all the support and facilitations provided by the Protocol Department to the UNITAD team. 

The meeting was attended by Mr. Samer Jamal Hassan, Assistant Head of the Protocol Department.
