Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Abu Dhabi meets Minister of Culture and Youth

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mudhafar Al-Jbori met on Wednesday 14/7/2021 the Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura Al Kaabi at the Ministry’s Headquarters.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister offered her sincere condolences and sympathy from the United Arab Emirates to the leadership, government and people of the Republic of Iraq, for the fire incident that broke out in Imam Hussein Teaching Hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate.

The two sides discussed the relations of cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them and future joint initiatives, in addition to the latest developments of the project to revive the spirit of Mosul.

Her Excellency the Minister emphasized the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly peoples, pointing out the importance of culture in bringing points of view closer, spreading the values of tolerance and openness to the other and rejecting intolerance. She also stressed that the project to revive the spirit of Mosul is one of the largest strategic cultural projects that the United Arab Emirates is working on.

For his part, Dr. Al-Jbori expressed his aspiration to develop the cultural partnership and implement the civilizational projects that are being worked on in Mosul, extending his thanks to the UAE for its interest in cultural and knowledge heritage, and stressed the importance of continuous communication and coordination of efforts with the aim of agreeing on future steps that would develop cultural relations.
