Acting Head of the Human Rights Department Meets Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad

The Acting Head of the Human Rights Department Minister Plenipotentiary, Ms. Brekhan  Shawqi met  the Syrian Ambassador Mr. Sattam Jadan Al-Dandah, on Wednesday, 10/7/2019, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The two sides discussed the relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in addition to the historical relations between the two neighboring countries. The Syrian Ambassador praised the role of Iraq for the cooperation in the common humanitarian fields between the two countries after the victories against terrorism stressing the necessity to continue coordination in these files at all levels.
