Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of New British Ambassador to Baghdad

The Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein has received today Thursday 8/7/2021 a copy of credentials of the new British Ambassador to Baghdad H.E. Mr. Mark Bryson Richrdson.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relationships between the two countries and the political developments on the regional and international arenas.

The Minister Affirmed that the government has embarked on a set of security, technical and organizational procedures to create an appropriate working environment for all missions in Baghdad noting Iraq’s endeavor to establish the best of relations to serve the interests of both countries.

Further, the Minster expressed the willingness of the Foreign Ministry to provide all means that would enable him to fulfill his diplomatic task successfully and help him contribute to the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
