Acting Head of Human Rights Department Meets Korean Chargé d’Affaires in Baghdad

The acting head of the Human Rights Department, Dr. Ali Hilal, met the Chargé d’Affaires of the Korean Embassy in Baghdad, Mr. Hong Jong Il.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for the 47th session of the Human Rights Council, the nominations of Iraq and Korea in international human rights organizations and bodies, and support for the efforts of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq to strengthen the role of the Iraqi government in protecting human rights.
