Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs, H.E. Qahtan Al Janabi Meets with the Deputy Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations

On 18 March 2021, Mr. Al Janabi met Ms. Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir, Deputy Special Representative for Political Affairs and Electoral Assistance of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), at the Ministry’s headquarters.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al Janabi welcomed Ms. Gísladóttir and wished her success in her new assignment.
The two sides discussed several topics related to the work of the UNAMI, ways of cooperation between the two sides, and facilitating the mission’s work to improve its performance at all levels.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abbas Obeid, acting Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences.
