Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Participates in the Ceremony of Receiving the First Batch of Medical Equipments for Personal Protection from Coronavirus
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Islamabad, Mr. Hamid Abbas, participated in the ceremony of receiving the first batch of Medical Equipments for personal protection from (COVID-19) presented as a gift by the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the government and people of Iraq on 13 March 2021.
Mr. Abbas delivered a speech on this occasion in which he expressed the Iraqi government’s thanks to the people and government of Pakistan for this historic stance, which strengthens the ties of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
From the Pakistani side, Dr. Khaled Hussein Memon, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Middle East Affairs, and General Akhtar Nawaz, Head of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in the Pakistani Army, the donor of this aid, who expressed their pride in the bilateral relations between the two countries and considered this aid as a token of love and assistance from the Pakistani people to the friendly Iraqi people.
