The Foreign Minister Receives Ambassador of Syrian Arab Republic to Iraq

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Satam Jadaan Al-Dandah, at the ministry building in Baghdad on Tuesday 26/1/2021.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples, and discussed the overall regional and international conditions, and the Iraqi government’s efforts to fight the remnants of Da’esh terrorist gangs.

The meeting stressed the need for concerted efforts by all countries of the world to confront the threat of terrorism that threatens the world.

On his part, the Syrian ambassador, Mr. Sattam, conveyed the condolences of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic to the government and people of Iraq following the double terrorist attack that took place in Baghdad on Thursday 21/1/2021.

Minister Fuad Hussein thanked the Ambassador for his condolences.
