Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Seoul Meets Korean Foreign Minister

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Seoul Mr. Haider Al-Barrak met with Korean Foreign Minister Mrs.  Kang Kyung-wha on the sidelines of the 1st International Conference on combating sexual violence against women during wartime hosted by Korean Foreign Ministry. International organizations and personnel’s participated in this conference, including Foreign Minister of Indonesia Ms. Retno Marsudi, special representative of the U.N. Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Dr. Denis Mukwege, Nobel Peace Prize Winner with Iraqi citizen Nadia Murad and victims of sexual violence from southern Sudan and Colombia, and Yazidi survivor from Da’esh terrorist organization detention camps Ms. Dalia Khairo and the presence of foreign diplomatic missions in Korea.
