The Iraqi Foreign Minister Delivers Prime Minister’s Letter to Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

The Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received Iraqi Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, and the two sides discussed the relations linking Baghdad with Kuwait, and strengthening the process of cooperation between the two countries in all fields to serve common interests.

Minister Fuad Hussein delivered a letter from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to Emir of Kuwait.

The Minister praised Kuwait’s positions in support of Iraq and its efforts on the Arab arena to strengthen common Arab solidarity in a way that consolidates peace, security and stability in the region, and expressed Iraq’s interest in continuing to build the momentum witnessed by the frameworks of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides also discussed regional and international developments of common interest, and stressed the importance of concerted Arab efforts in facing the challenges in the region, as well as advancing the means of consultation and mutual coordination on all issues and the successive developments in the region.
