The Representative of Iraq to World Food Program Participates in Regular Meeting of the Near East and North Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Group

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the World Food Program Ambassador Safia Al-Suhail, participated in the virtual meeting of the World Food Program for the Near East, North Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The meeting was attended by several permanent delegates and country directors, and comes on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings for the second session’s meetings to be held for the period 16-20 / 11/2020.

The virtual meeting dealt with a summary of the programs implemented by the World Food Program, the challenges that accompanied its work during the Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to highlighting the emergency plans taken by the Food Program, and a brief presentation of the mechanism of work of the World Food Program in the countries of the Near East and North Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
