The Head of Human Rights Department Meets with Chinese Ambassador to Iraq

The Head of Human Rights Department Mr. Muhammad Saheb Majeed met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Baghdad Mr. Zhang Tao to deliver a letter of thanks addressed to Foreign Minister, Mr. Fuad Hussein from his counterpart, the Foreign Minister of China.

During the meeting they discussed a number of common issues related to human rights, including the two countries’ nominations for a number of international bodies and United Nations committees.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Zhang delivered a memorial gift to the Head of the Human Rights Department to express the appreciation of the Chinese Embassy in Baghdad for the joint cooperation and coordination on human rights issues.
