The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Pakistan Meets with Pakistani Minister of Defense

Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta, Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Islamabad met with the Pakistani Minister of Defense, Mr. Pervez Khattak.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the defense field, and benefiting from the expertise of both military institutions, including developing the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces and referred to the issue of the Iraqi officers who are participating in the courses held by the Pakistani side and means for the support that should be provided to them, and the success of their mission.
The two sides agreed to maintain communication and follow up on issues related to the military side that would achieve mutual benefit.
