The Deputy Head of International Organizations and Conferences Department Meets with Ambassador of Kingdom of Sweden

The Deputy Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences, Mr. Ali Hilal met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Mr. Lars Ronas.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in international organizations, and mutual support agreements to obtain positions in organizations, and their boards of directors.

The two sides also discussed the draft resolutions presented within the work of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and files of common interest.

The Deputy head of the department expressed Iraq’s appreciation to the Kingdom of Sweden for its continuous support to the specialized agencies operating in Iraq, especially in the fields of mine clearance and support for the displaced Iraqis.
