Foreign Minister Receives Cardinal Luis Sacco Patriarch of the Chaldean Community in Iraq

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamed Ali Hakim received Cardinal Louis Sacco, the Chaldean Patriarch in Iraq

 The Minister expressed his pride in the distinctive national role played by Iraqi Christians, stressing that the coexistence between different religions and sects is a distinctive feature of the Iraqi people, pointing out that all contribute today to manage the democratic political experiment.

The Minister stressed that the responsibility of preserving the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the land rests with all, and requires the mobilization of all energies to confront the danger of discrimination and extremism, calling for the importance of spreading a culture of trust, love and brotherhood and eliminating the culture of hatred.
