The Acting Head of Asia and Australia Department Meets with Charge d’affaires of Republic of Indonesia in Iraq

The Acting Head of Asia and Australia Department, Ambassador Ali Yassin met with the Charge d’affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Iraq, Mr. Harry Khairuddin.

The two sides discussed a number of issues of concern to the two countries, and the importance of raising the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the coming stage with the opportunities available to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples, as they discussed the issue of working to prepare a memorandum of understanding in the field of energy, and organizing visits to religious shrines.

The Ambassador praised the positive developments witnessed in Iraqi-Indonesian relations in various fields that contribute to strengthening the communication and interdependence that Baghdad and Jakarta aspire to.
