The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Ukraine Meets with Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Ukraine Mr. Bakr Ahmed Al-Jaff met with former President of Ukraine Mr. Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko.
The Ambassador reviewed friendship and cooperation between Iraq and Ukraine, praising the continuous support it provides to Iraq in its battle against terrorist organizations, affirming the sincere desire to provide the appropriate conditions for investment companies and Ukrainian businessmen in the Iraqi market.

On his part, the former Ukrainian
President expressed appreciation to the Iraqi government’s insistence on developing bilateral relations in various fields, especially the cultural and scientific field as the two countries enjoy a deep-rooted cultural heritage, affirming its solidarity with the Iraqi people and their government in order to build a prosperous Iraq, and restore its prominent regional and international position , and its pioneering role in achieving world peace and security.
