The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Meets with  Secretary General of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Qahtam Taha met with Mr. Nayef Al-Hajraf,  Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at the General Secretariat headquarters.

The two sides discussed ways to activate cooperation between Iraq and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in the next stage.

The Secretary-General affirmed the support of the GCC states for Iraq, and keenness to achieve a qualitative leap in relations for the great importance of Iraq.

On his part, the Ambassador affirmed that Iraq is keen to develop its relations with the General Secretariat in a way that serves the interests of the Iraqi people and the peoples of the Gulf states.

The Secretary-General stated that he will make sure to visit Iraq and make it one of his priorities in the coming stage.
