An exceptional flight left today
Thursday evening to evacuate Iraqis in Denmark from Copenhagen International Airport to Baghdad.

This trip was organized in coordination with the Crisis Cell and the Protocol Department at the Ministry’s headquarters and in cooperation with the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority.

The flight transported several Iraqis and Europeans of Iraqi origin to Copenhagen Airport, with a total number of 120 passengers evacuated aboard the plane that were stranded due to comprehensive ban to face the Coronavirus.

The Iraqi charge d’affair Mr. Diyari Ahmed Majeed, together with the diplomatic staff, accompanied the passengers to the airport to follow their travel procedures, and bid them farewell.
