The Consulate General of Republic of Iraq to Istanbul Operates an Exceptional Flight to Baghdad

The Consulate General of Republic of Iraq to Istanbul operated an exceptional flight to Baghdad with 152 Iraqi passengers that were stranded in Turkey due to the comprehensive ban measures and flight suspension to prevent outbreaks of Coronavirus.

This flight was organized by our consulate in cooperation with the Crisis Cell and the Protocol Department at the Ministry’s Headquarters , and in coordination with Iraqi Airways.

The passengers were escorted to the airport by the diplomatic staff of our consulate to facilitate their travel procedures and to overcome obstacles that they may face.
