The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Ukraine Launches an Eexceptional Flight to Iraq

The embassy of Iraq in Ukraine launched an exceptional flight to Iraq in cooperation with Iraqi Airways with 186 passengers on board of Iraqis stranded in Kiev due to the suspension of flights as a preventive measure from the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

The embassy through it official account on social media, and its hotlines called on Iraqi citizens wishing to return to the country to register their data so that they start operating an exceptional return flight to Baghdad.

On his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Bakir Al-Jaff praised the efforts of the airlines and the great cooperation shown by the Ukrainian side in facilitating the preparation of flights.

The passengers were accompanied to the airport by the Ambassador and the diplomatic staff at our embassy to bid them farewell and to complete their travel procedures.
