An Exceptional Flight Departs Istanbul with (264) Iraqi Passengers
An exceptional flight left from Istanbul International Airport to Baghdad with (264) Iraqi passengers that were stranded in Turkey, and the body of one of the Iraqi deceased.
The passengers were accompanied to the airport by the diplomatic and administrative staff in the consulate to check on the procedures of their transportation, and to overcome their difficulties.
The General Consulate of Iraq in Istanbul has conducted a number of extraordinary flights to Baghdad following the preventive ban and closing the airspace in front of regular flights.
The total number of those evacuated in cooperation with the Iraqi Airways Office comes to (1468).
