Chief of Protocol Department Receives Canadian Ambassador

The Chief of Protocol Department, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Manhal Al-Safi received the Canadian Ambassador Mr.  Paul Gibbard , and discussed ways of bilateral cooperation and developing coordination between the two countries.

Mr. Al-Safi expressed the aspiration of Baghdad to continue, and increase Canada’s support for all the ongoing efforts at various political, economic, developmental and social levels.

The meeting is aimed at strengthening strategic relations, consultation on how to deal with various issues, and regional challenges, which will contribute to security and stability in the region.
