The Chief of Protocol Department, Minister Plenipotentiary, Mr. Al-Manhal Al-Safi received the Saudi Charge D’affaires Mr. Bandar Turki Al-Humaidi. Mr. Al-Safi affirmed Iraq’s pride in the close and distinguished relations between the two countries, expressing Baghdad’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation and develop channels of communication and consultation on regional issues to support of the path of solidarity and joint action in the face of the various challenges that the region is witnessing in order to safeguard interests and achieve the hopes of the two peoples for greater stability and prosperity.
