Iraqi Chargé D’affaires Meets Czech Defense Ministry Undersecretary

The Iraqi Chargé d’affaires ai, Mr. Ihsan Al-Awadi received the Undersecretary of the Czech Ministry of Defense, Mr. Bafel Biran at the Embassy’s headquarters. The meeting reviewed the history of the relations between the two countries, particularly in the security and military fields, the Czech Republic’s support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and its contribution to the training of Iraqi pilots and police.  Mr. Bafel  conveyed the greetings of the Czech Defense Minister to the Republic of Iraq for its heroic response to terrorism on behalf of all the countries of the world and the sacrifices made by the people of Iraq in this regard.

The two sides discussed during the meeting the expansion of cooperation in various security and military fields, and the exchange of official visits between the officials of the Iraqi and Czech Ministries of Defense.
