Statement

The Foreign Ministry expresses its full solidarity with the government and people of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, following the earthquake that struck the country and the aftershocks that affected parts of Thailand and Vietnam, causing enormous human and material damages.

The Republic of Iraq offers its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured, and it affirms its full support for the friendly countries in this difficult time, stressing the importance of collaboration and humanitarian solidarity to face the repercussions of this natural disaster.

The Ministry also appreciates the significant efforts made by rescue teams, medical personnel, and humanitarian workers to provide support and relief to those affected.
