Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Receives a Phone Call from his Jordanian Counterpart

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a phone call from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Ayman Safadi on Friday 28 March 2025. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a phone call from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mr. Ayman Safadi, on Friday 28 March 2025. 

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen the historical and fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and affirmed the strategic nature and strength of these relations, in addition they emphasized the ongoing efforts to develop the relations between the two countries to serve the common interests of the Iraqi and Jordanian peoples. 

The two sides also touched on the misleading attempts by some parties to undermine the brotherly relations between Iraq and Jordan, through the publication of fabricated videos related to the Iraq-Palestine match held in Amman on 25 March 2025.

Minister Safadi, confirmed that technical investigations have conclusively proven that the published video is fake and has no basis in reality, Indicating that the investigations are ongoing to identify the parties behind this misleading campaign and to take the necessary legal action against those involved.

The two ministers underlined that the solid Iraqi-Jordanian relations and the awareness of the two peoples are too strong to be affected by such fabrications and fallacies perpetrated by suspicious parties.
