Statement

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Republic of Iraq’s appreciation and welcoming of the  agreement reached between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the demarcation of the border between the two countries. 

This agreement is an important step toward enhancing regional stability and reflects the two countries’ commitment to resolving disputes through peaceful means and constructive dialogue. The Ministry commends the diplomatic efforts exerted by both sides, affirming that this accomplishment will contribute to achieving sustainable development and enhancing common security.

While the Ministry wishes Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan further progress and prosperity, it reiterate its support for efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
